YWCA Northern Rhode Island recognizes outstanding women working for the economic empowerment of women
Fifteen women were recognized for their exceptional skills working for
the economic empowerment of women at the 4th Annual Tools of the Trade
Luncheon, held September 17 at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln. Deb
Ruggiero served as the event emcee.

AAA Southern New England: AAA Southern New England is pleased to

Caritas: The board of directors and staff at Caritas congratulate Susan
D. Wallace on receiving a Woman of Achievement Award from YWCA Northern
Rhode Island. For 37 years, Susan has been a pioneer in the field of
treating teens with substance abuse and has provided residential and
outpatient treatment for over 12,000 Rhode Island teens, women, and

Dr. Day Care Family: Table of Tribute - Tracy Cheney is a remarkable,
talented early childhood professional who has earned a Masters Degree
in early childhood education. She has been in the profession for nearly 20 years.
She is the vice president of operations for
the Dr. Day Care Family. Her colleagues view her as a confident, caring
woman with superb communication skills. She is one of the states most outstanding professionals and educators in the field. Why, because she really cares for children and understands families’ needs!
